Blessing Baby Madison

Well, yesterday was the big day!! We blessed Madison Lynn in Blackfoot at Nathans home ward. It was a wonderful blessing and it was so fun to be able to have so many family members there with us. Andrea's parents and her brother and sister were able to be there for the event and Nathan's Grandparents and several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins were also able to attend. It was so great to spend some time together. Madison is doing very well and we are just loving having her in our family. With Mamma Welling gone now we are "enjoying" handling things at night all by ourselves!! It really is great though because she is a pretty good sleeper and a very happy baby!! We sure love her! We want to thank everyone who took the time to come yesterday, it meant so much to us to have so much love and support from family!

SHE IS HERE!!!

Well, the big news in our family now is that our little baby Madison arrived yesterday! We went into the hospital at 7:30 a.m. and Andrea was induced at 8:00 a.m. Little Madison was then born at 1:11 p.m. so it was a quick labor and delivery of about 5 hours which we, Andrea especially really appreciated!! After all of the routine check ups and everything we are now home and everything is going great with both Andrea and Madison. As you can see in the pictures she has a ton of dark hair and is just so so cute! We love having her with us and are excited for the wild ride of parenthood. We appreciate all of the prayers and love from family and friends over the past nine months! Our prayers have been answered and we have been blessed with a beautiful daughter!!!

Getting Ready for Baby Madison!

So we are only a week and a half away from the arrival of baby Madison Lynn and we are just so excited! There are two other girls in my ward due the same day and one has already had her baby! Madison's nursery looks so cute thanks to her two fantastic Grandmothers that financed the crib and bedding. And yes, I often go in there and just look at her clothes and play with her things for fun- what else am I supposed to do while waiting?! I have my hospital bag ready and waiting as well so we're just waiting for her cue!

Round Two!

So this is round two for the Stokes Blog! I need as much help and encouragement as possible to keep this one going! Truth is, I can't remember what our last one was (blame that on the pregnancy). An update on our little family: Nathan is working very hard up at Elk Creek up in Island Park (picture) as the Chef and Manager. He's also the repair man, maintanance man, plummer, etc. He is commuting this year between Rexburg and there (about a 50 minute drive) because I am finishing school and our little girl comes in just over a week! We are so excited/anxious for Madison Lynn to finally come. We just hope she's a healthy little girl! I've been so blessed to have such a wonderful pregnancy and to feel so great the whole time. I am currently working on trying to finish my online class in a mad rush. So far so good. Then I will only have my one other class, photography, to finish when she arrives. We will keep you posted! Stay tuned!
